Laurie Saunders
Laurie Saunders has been captivating audiences with her vocal talent and charisma since the age of three. At 16, she won the title of Miss Virginia T.E.E.N. Soon after, she began her professional career as an entertainer at Kings' Dominion in Ashland, VA. She acquired a recording contract with Epic Records in 1990, which produced a Top 20 hit on Billboard's Dance Chart.
An amazing career has taken her around the world, performing in a South Pacific USO Tour; a national tour of "Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"; "PARIS JE T'AIME" at Le Palais Montcalm in Quebec; singing backup for Barry Manilow; an international convention in Singapore; starring as a guest entertainer on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Discovery and Cape Canaveral Cruise Lines; lead vocalist for mega-ship Las Vegas-style revue shows; featured performer for numerous worldwide production and industrial shows; fronting two touring Top 40 bands; starring in touring productions of CHICAGO as "Velma Kelly" and in GREASE as "Rizzo", as well as IMAGINATION, CIRQUE DU MONDE and HOT LATIN RHYTHM with Kevin Black Productions; and her own one-woman cabaret show.
Laurie now resides in Naples, FL and continues to share her love of music and performing. Her repertoire consists of a wide variety of classic favorites, including Standards, Oldies, Motown, Jazz, Country, Rock and Pop music. Her vocal style and performance artistry keep audiences coming back for more!
